No, Hoodoo Holds are made out of Aluminum to protect the life of your picks for when you really need to use them.
Alloy hardness can be measured in a few different ways. The Mohs and the Rockwell are the most common. With both of these scales, the higher the number the harder the metal.
Aluminum is generally around 2.75 Mohs or 20 Rockwell, where Steel comes in around 4.00 Mohs, or 60 Rockwell
“How do I mount them if i don’t have a home climbing wall?”
We recommend mounting them to a piece of wood and then attaching above a door, just make sure your board is in studs. Check back and we will have some pictures posted.
